Kari joined Premier Homes over 5 years ago after a successful career in Minor League Baseball & the restaurant industry.
She was awarded Employee of the Year for Outback Steakhouse & FOH Trainer of the Year. In 2004 she was given the Children's Miracle Network Community Award for her fundraising efforts.
In 2009 Kari was given the coveted Frontier League Executive of the Year award for her work with the Florence Freedom Baseball Club. She was a member of the University of Cincinnati's Sports Advisory Board while working in MiLB along with being a key member on the Frontier League Scheduling Committee. While working for Ripken Baseball she received several in-house awards to add to her collection.

Kari started working in the home building arena back in 2018 as the Warranty Coordinator. Kari was promoted to General Manager in 2023 and now oversees all aspects of Premier Homes including the sales & marketing department, community events, and of course, the building of new homes.

Kari is married to Toby Rumfield who is a former professional baseball player and now a head high school baseball coach. Kari & Toby have 4 children and 2 grandchildren. She’s an avid golfer and sports fan and loves seeing her two sons play baseball with the NY Yankees organization and Midland College.

Her eldest son lives in Wisconsin with his wife and grandson. Her daughter currently resides in Cedar Park and works for Dell Computers. Her middle child plays in the Yankees organization and is married and has one daughter. Her youngest son goes to college and plays baseball for Midland College.
Kari spends her free time on the golf course, baking pies and working on living her best life embracing being an empty nester.
